Barking in the Car
Baby A and I just went to Virginia to visit my grandparents for a few days. It is difficult to see winter settling over a person's life. But I had my Spring with me--the smiliest baby ever born cheered everyone up. Shortly after returning, we drove down to Las Vegas to see my sister-in-law and soon-to-be brother-in-law, going to an LDS temple together. After we go to my parents for Thanksgiving this week, I will be happy to take a break from all this traveling!
My parents were so generous as to take the 7 hour drive to Vegas with us, and were an enormous help entertaining Baby A, including several books, of course! I asked my mother to read her (seriously, click on her name, her website is awesome) Sandra Boynton's Doggies: A Counting and Barking Book. Previously, I asked my husband to read it to her. I plan to get as many people as possible to read this book to her in my presence, as I find people making animal noises to be entertaining as much as, if not more than, Baby A finds it. And everyone reads the barks differently, which is interesting. Sandra Boynton's books never disappoint!

One of the dogs makes a sound like a cell phone vibrating on a table. Nnnn.... nnn....nnnn... Wouldn't you read that dog as cell phone vibration? I refuse to believe I am the only one.
